Applications of BBX
BBX systems are designed by leading blast consultants and security engineers to model the best solution to fit the client’s blast and ballistic performance needs.
Solutions can be retrofitted to existing structures or designed as a key element of any new construction.
Applications
Ballistic
BBX provides robust ballistic protection, capable of resisting penetration from various projectiles. This is particularly essential for buildings susceptible to armed attacks, such as embassies, police stations, and banks. The system's unique patented composition can prevent rounds from firearms, shrapnel, or other ballistic threats from breaching the structure.

Blast
Our discreet block construction system offers advanced blast protection, specifically designed to withstand high-pressure shocks caused by explosions. This functionality is crucial for structures located in volatile areas or those holding valuable assets, like government buildings, military installations, and power plants. By dissipating energy and reducing the impact of blast waves, the system protects the structural integrity of the building and helps safeguard its occupants.

Breach
Providing excellent breach resistance, BBX is resistant to forced entry and various intrusion attempts, which is vital for structures requiring high security, such as prisons, research facilities, and data centres. It is designed to prevent unauthorised access using physical force, power tools, or advanced breaching techniques.

Fire
BBX fire resistance is a pivotal attribute for any building but especially so for high-risk structures like factories, warehouses, or skyscrapers. Its design includes fire-resistant materials and technologies that limit the spread and intensity of a fire, providing the occupants more time for safe evacuation.
